Favourite Australian saying: “have a good one”. Have a good what? We’ll never tell. You’ll never know Australian secrets.
who’s gonna take the 82 hour trip down to no where land to tell these people half the english speaking world uses their apparently exclusive phrases
WHY WASNT THIS NATIONAL NEWS?!
I think we know why.
If you follow the source and watch the interview she did, he had apparently already shot at the police and shot off a round in the office with her, but when he went to go out to where the kids were she called him back and tried to get him to stay inside with her instead.
He literally loaded the gun in front of her and told her that he was gonna kill himself and take them all with him, and she still stayed as calm as she was somehow.
Detective: what do we got
Officer: looks like a classic phone fumble. guy dropped his phone right on his face like a jackass. died instantly
That’s the number of arrest warrants issued in Ferguson last year for nonviolent crimes. Compare that to the population of 21,135 people.
"White citizens were stopped less than 13% of the time despite making up 29% of the population"
At some point I’ll stop talking about Ferguson. Today is not that day.
Honestly one of the most annoying things is when I tell people I’ve never played lots of classic games and then they accuse me of not really liking games and saying I’m fake. Like, I’m sorry that I grew up poor and never saw a console until I was 12 years old. My mom was more concerned with feeding me than buying me video games. I did get a game boy color in 4th grade and that was a huge deal. I only ever had two games for it: Links Awakening and Galaga. I worked all summer and bought myself a PSone after the ps2 had been out for ages. I didn’t have many games for that, either. Every gaming device I’ve owned, excluding the game boy color, I bought myself.
I was never able to get into pokemon when I was a kid because it was expensive. Buying a game was a huge deal, I would work months to save up for one. So, I’m just really sick of people being shitty to me about it. I’m lucky now to have a boyfriend that’s really into gaming so he buys all the consoles and games. I really don’t own anything still because when I have money it always goes to bills. Finally, I’m able to enjoy the things I was never able to enjoy as a child. I know I’m 23 and it shouldn’t get to me but it does. I think its because it’s insulting to my mom and how I grew up. I lived in poverty but apparently that’s not an excuse for not having an N64. I’m just not a real gamer. What a shame.
